This fine porcelain figurine was produced by Wedgwood for Spink Modern Collections as part of the Golden Jubilee 1887 commemorative series. It represents a late-Victorian lady holding a parasol, created as a limited edition release of 10,000 pieces.

The figurine is crafted in fine porcelain with detailed drapery, layered textures and period dress styling typical of Wedgwood’s commemorative works. The underside carries the full Spink and Wedgwood marks together with the edition number, 2631. Its soft blue and cream tones, combined with the umbrella detail, reflect the style of Jubilee-era illustrations.

Wedgwood produced several commemorative editions during the late twentieth century, and the Golden Jubilee 1887 series remains one of the more recognisable themed collections. This example is well-preserved and remains free from chips, cracks or repairs.
