This porcelain screech owl figurine was produced by W. Goebel in West Germany in 1969 and belongs to the Hummel wildlife and bird sculpture series. The model, identified as CV99, depicts a screech owl perched on a textured tree stump, captured in a dynamic and alert pose.

The piece is made from glazed porcelain and finished with hand-painted decoration. Fine feather detailing covers the body, with layered texturing across the wings and tail. The owl’s expressive eyes are carefully painted, and the sculpted base features natural bark textures with subtle tonal shading. The underside bears the Goebel W.
