A mid-century ceramic music box figurine depicting a seated Victorian-style lady playing a large harp. This hand-painted piece features red, ivory, and brown glazes with defined folds in the dress, a tall black bonnet hat, and a finely modelled harp structure. The underside mechanism plate and metal clasps indicate production consistent with 1950s–1960s Japanese export ceramics, a period when musical figurines became widely popular.

The built-in wind-up music mechanism operates smoothly and plays its melody without interruption. The figurine displays characteristic mid-century detailing such as textured dress layers, sharp facial modelling, and neatly painted harp strings — all typical of Japanese factory craftsmanship of the era.

The figurine is in very good vintage condition, with only light age-related wear to the paint and surface, but no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The glaze remains glossy, and the music box function works properly.
