Vintage Architectural Ceramic Teapot | Radcliffe Camera Design | Past Times England Collectible Oxford Landmark
Vintage Architectural Ceramic Teapot | Radcliffe Camera Design | Past Times England Collectible
This is a vintage ceramic teapot inspired by the Radcliffe Camera in Oxford, designed by James Gibbs and produced exclusively for Past Times in England. The piece reflects architectural illustration traditions translated into collectible ceramic tableware, combining functional use with display value.
Crafted from glazed ceramic, the teapot measures approximately 17 cm in height, 19 cm in width, and 11 cm in depth, with a total weight of 605 grams. It features a removable domed lid with gold-tone detailing, a curved pouring spout, and a gold-accented handle. The printed architectural decoration wraps around the body, showing detailed stonework and classical design elements.
The Radcliffe Camera, completed in 1749, is one of Oxford’s most recognised historic buildings and an enduring symbol of English Palladian architecture. Past Times produced a range of collectible ceramics inspired by British landmarks, making pieces like this particularly appealing to collectors of architectural memorabilia and British design ceramics.
Condition: The teapot is in good vintage condition with no cracks or repairs. Light surface wear consistent with age may be present, particularly to the base and gilded areas. Please review all photos carefully for full condition details.
