This Royal Doulton “Wilfred Entertains” figurine, model DBH23, was produced in 1990 as part of the Brambly Hedge Gift Collection inspired by the illustrations of Jill Barklem. Made in England and hand decorated, this piece belongs to the earlier 1990s production period of the series.

The figure depicts Wilfred in theatrical attire, wearing a black top hat with feather detail, burgundy and yellow costume, and flowing cape, posed mid-performance with arms extended. The sculpt captures expressive movement, while the rich hand-painted glaze highlights the layered costume folds and facial detailing.
