This Coalport porcelain figurine, titled A Present For Grandma, was produced in 1994 as part of a limited edition created in support of Barnardo’s charitable work. Sculpted by David Lyttleton, the figure was issued in an edition of 5,000 pieces, and this example is individually numbered 315. The model depicts a young girl carrying wrapped gifts, accompanied by a small dog at her side, with careful detailing to the clothing folds and pastel tones.

The figurine is crafted in fine English porcelain and displays crisp modelling to the bonnet, coat, and gift parcels. It measures 19.5 cm in height, 9 cm in width, and 8 cm in depth, with a total weight of 250 g. The underside shows the full Coalport backstamp, edition information, and sculptor attribution. A certificate of authenticity is included. The piece shows no chips, cracks, or repairs, and the glaze remains clean and well preserved.

Coalport continued its collaboration with Compton & Woodhouse through the 1990s, producing a series of themed limited edition figures, many of which remain sought after among collectors. A Present For Grandma is one of the notable examples from this series.
