Wedgwood Blue Jasperware Royal Wedding 1981 Charles Diana Commemorative Plate British Monarchy Display Stand

This vintage Wedgwood blue jasperware plate was produced in England to commemorate the July 1981 Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. It is supplied with a separate black plastic display stand for upright presentation.

The small circular plate has Wedgwood’s characteristic matte pale blue body with a raised white applied relief. The central design depicts the profiles of Charles and Diana beneath the Prince of Wales feathers, surrounded by laurel branches and a ribbon inscribed Royal Wedding July 1981.

Wedgwood issued a range of jasperware commemoratives for the royal wedding held on 29 July 1981. Small examples of this design are variously described as miniature plates, round trays, plaques or pin dishes and were produced as British royal souvenirs and display collectables.

The reverse is impressed Wedgwood Made in England. The detachable stand is marked Framemaker Products Ltd Burton-on-Trent and is included as a display accessory rather than an original Wedgwood component.

The plate is in pre-owned vintage condition with light surface marks and small signs of age or display. No obvious chips, cracks or repairs are visible in the supplied photographs. The plastic stand shows minor surface wear consistent with previous use. No original Wedgwood presentation box or paperwork is shown.
