This fine porcelain figurine was produced by Wedgwood for the Spink Modern Collections Limited series dedicated to the Great Exhibition of 1851. It represents one of the numbered limited-edition figures created to mark historical British design, and this example carries the number 342 from an edition of 10,000.

The piece is crafted in glazed fine porcelain with detailed Victorian dress elements and hand-applied accents typical of Wedgwood’s mid-1990s commemorative work. The impressed marks and printed base script confirm production and edition details. The figurine stands at 19 cm, presenting an elegant tiered gown, bonnet and sculpted folds that highlight the technical finish of the period.

The Great Exhibition series was produced as a collectible range celebrating the 1851 London event, and Wedgwood’s involvement connected the company’s long heritage in English ceramics with Victorian industrial and artistic history.
