This Casades porcelain figurine depicts a young boy holding a freshly caught fish, modelled in the soft glazed finish characteristic of late 20th century Spanish studio ceramics. Produced in Spain during the 1980s, the piece reflects the pastoral and coastal themes frequently seen in Casades decorative porcelain.

The figure measures 19 cm in height, 6 cm in width and 6 cm in depth, with a weight of 220 grams. Crafted in glazed porcelain, the boy is shown wearing a wide-brim hat, loose blue trousers and a simple shirt, gently cradling the fish against his chest. Subtle hand-painted facial detailing and soft tonal transitions enhance the sculptural modelling. The underside bears the Casades mark confirming authenticity.

Casades became known for producing accessible collectible porcelain figures inspired by rural life, childhood scenes and traditional European themes.
