This vintage wind up Jumping Rabbit tin toy is a classic key-operated mechanical figure made in China and presented with its original box and winding key.

Standing approximately 13 cm tall, with a width of 8 cm and depth of 6 cm, the toy weighs around 80 grams. Constructed from lithographed tin metal, it features a green and yellow body, red eyes and spring-mounted metal feet designed to create a hopping motion when wound.

The wind-up mechanism is operated via the included key. Once activated, the rabbit performs a forward jumping movement typical of late 20th century reproduction tin toys. The base is marked “Made in China.” The original illustrated box is included and shows typical light edge wear consistent with storage.

Tin wind-up animal toys were widely produced during the mid-20th century, originally by German and Japanese makers, later continuing in Chinese production during the 1980s–1990s as collectible nostalgic pieces aimed primarily at adults.

Condition is good vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with age. Colours remain bright and graphics are clear. Mechanism functions.
