This vintage Royal Albert Goody Tiptoes figurine was produced in England in 1989 as part of the officially licensed Beatrix Potter character collection.
The porcelain figure portrays the grey squirrel dressed in a pink coat and white apron while holding a basket filled with nuts. Moulded fur, basket and clothing details are finished with a glossy glaze and softly applied colours. The underside carries the Royal Albert England crown mark, Goody Tiptoes name, Beatrix Potter attribution and 1989 Royal Albert copyright.
Goody Tiptoes is a character from Beatrix Potter’s 1911 story, The Tale of Timmy Tiptoes. The Royal Albert version was modelled by Arthur Gredington, issued in 1989 and retired in 1997. The figurine appears to be in good vintage condition, with light signs of age and handling consistent with previous display.
