Lladro Girl With Cockerel 4591 Matte Porcelain Figurine Retired Spanish Farmhouse Rooster Basket Decor
Vintage Lladro Girl With Cockerel 4591 Matte Spanish Porcelain Farm Basket Retired Collectable Ornament
This retired Lladró Girl with Cockerel figurine was handmade in Spain and represents the matte version of model 4591. The composition portrays a rural young woman carrying a woven basket while holding a cockerel securely in her arms.
Crafted from fine porcelain, the figure has a smooth matte finish and a restrained palette of grey, white, beige and soft pink. Moulded details define the folds of the woman’s clothing, the woven basket and the bird’s feathers. The authentic blue Lladró Hand Made in Spain backstamp is present beneath the base.
Girl with Cockerel was designed by sculptor Fulgencio García and introduced in 1969. The matte version, catalogued as model 01014591, was retired in 1991. Its agricultural subject and subdued colouring reflect the rural scenes found in Lladró’s earlier Spanish porcelain production.
The figurine is in good pre-owned vintage condition. No obvious chips, cracks or repairs are visible in the supplied photographs. Light age-related marks and surface wear are present around the underside of the base. The original box is not included. Please use the photographs as the primary reference for condition.
