This Lilliput Lane Watermill cottage is one of the detailed resin models produced by the company to represent traditional rural buildings found throughout the British landscape. It was handcrafted in Cumbria and issued with its original deed certificate, reflecting the brand’s focus on architectural authenticity and miniature craftsmanship.

The piece features a textured thatched roof, timber-framed walls and a fully modelled working waterwheel structure. It is cast in resin with hand-applied finishes, emphasising stone work, timber detail and flowing water along the wheel. The original label on the underside confirms the model name Watermill and notes its place within the Lilliput Lane miniature series. The sculpture stands approximately 6 cm high, 9 cm wide and 7 cm deep, with a weight of 255 g.

Research into the release shows that Watermill was produced during a period when Lilliput Lane expanded its rural architectural themes, drawing inspiration from historic mills that once played a central role in village economies. These mills typically combined domestic living spaces with working water mechanisms, and many surviving examples remain iconic in the English countryside.

The piece is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks or repairs, and comes with its original box and deed certificate.
