This vintage Coalport porcelain figurine is Midsummer Dream from the Age of Elegance collection, designated Figurine of the Year for 1997. Made in England and modelled by Jack Glynn, it depicts a poised lady holding a rose while wearing a flowing floral gown.

The figure is made from fine porcelain with a soft matte finish and hand-decorated details. Applied peach flowers, pale green leaves, a rose-coloured sash and embossed dress panels create a layered design, while the printed Coalport backstamp confirms the title, collection and production information.

Coalport’s Age of Elegance series portrayed ladies in period-inspired dress and became a recognised part of the company’s late twentieth-century figurine production. Midsummer Dream was released as the 1997 Figurine of the Year, with the underside also carrying the Jack Glynn signature and a 1996 copyright date.
