Beautifully detailed figurine by Auro Belcari for Dear Studios in Italy. It is signed and dated 1989 as shown. This is probably an historical figure or made to showcase the fashion of the time period, but I cannot find any others like it for information.

The figure is about 10 1/4" tall, 5 1/2" wide and is made of either stone or a heavy resin. There is a contrast of textures: the bodice is shiny and slick like china.....the rest has the appearance of an unglazed bisque. The detailing of the small roses on the cap and the long fingers is just beautiful. it stands on a white "marble/alabaster" appearing base.

No crack, Dent, Chip or Restoration.
