Porcelain Boy Figure Vintage Child in Bonnet Leaning Against Tree Stump Pastel Nursery Collectable

This vintage-style porcelain figurine depicts a young boy casually leaning against a textured tree stump. He is dressed in worn grey trousers, a pale blue checked jacket, a green neck scarf and a large yellow-and-white bonnet.

The figure is made from hollow moulded porcelain with a predominantly matte finish and softly applied pastel colouring. Sculpted details include the boy’s hair, torn knee, clothing folds, shoes, tree bark and small flowers arranged around the oval base. His hands-in-pockets pose and sideways expression give the piece a distinctive storybook character.

The maker and country of manufacture are not identified, as the underside is unmarked. Its decorative style is consistent with late-20th-century child figurines influenced by European storybook and country-child designs. It should therefore be listed as an unbranded porcelain figure rather than attributed to Hummel or another named manufacturer.

The figurine is in good vintage condition overall. Light surface marks, minor discolouration and age-related wear are visible, particularly around the base and underside.
