Vintage Goebel Rabbit Pair Brown Porcelain Figures West Germany Mid Century Animal Collectibles Decor

West German Goebel Rabbits Brown Glazed Porcelain Pair Mid Century Animal Figures Collectables Display

This vintage pair of Goebel porcelain rabbit figurines was produced in West Germany, most likely during the mid-20th century. The set comprises one seated rabbit and one upright rabbit, each formed with expressive ears, rounded features and naturalistic poses.

Both figures are finished in graduated shades of brown and cream beneath a glossy glaze. Their moulded facial details, paws, fur markings and dark painted eyes give each rabbit an individual appearance. Both hollow porcelain figures carry the blue V-shaped W. Germany factory mark underneath.

Goebel became particularly recognised for its carefully modelled porcelain animals and character figures. West Germany marked examples are now collected as examples of post-war German decorative ceramics and mid-century animal design.

The pair is in good vintage condition overall. Fine age-related glaze crazing is visible across the surfaces, together with light wear and residue around the unglazed foot rims. No obvious chips, cracks or repairs were identified in the supplied photographs. Please use the close-up images as the primary condition reference.
