This vintage Barnett Glassware Minster spirit decanter is a square-form drinks bottle supplied with its matching glass stopper and original retail box. The box records a capacity of 26¾ fluid ounces, making it suitable for displaying or serving whisky, bourbon, brandy and other spirits.

The decanter is made from thick clear pressed glass with repeating geometric star and diamond motifs across its four rectangular sides. Its short shoulder and circular neck are paired with a substantial square stopper featuring the same textured pattern. The polished clear areas contrast with the deeply moulded decoration to reflect light through the bottle.

Barnett Glassware marketed decorative domestic glassware for British home bars and drinks cabinets during the later twentieth century. The Minster decanter follows the square spirit-bottle format popular during that period, combining practical capacity with a traditional cut-glass appearance. A comparable boxed example identified as a 20 cm Barnett Glassware Minster decanter has recently been offered in the UK secondary market.

The decanter and stopper appear to be in good vintage condition. No obvious chips or cracks are visible in the supplied photographs. Minor bubbles, mould lines, light scratches or small surface marks may be present from manufacture and previous storage. The stopper appears complete and fits into the neck. The original cardboard box is included but shows noticeable age-related wear, creasing, rubbing and torn areas around the upper edges. Please inspect every photograph carefully before purchasing.
