This vintage Price Kensington Cottage Ware teapot was made in England and formed as a traditional country house with a removable thatched-roof lid.

The glazed ceramic body has moulded brickwork, windows, a central door and climbing foliage picked out in brown, cream, yellow, green and burgundy tones. The branch-textured handle and short pouring spout are incorporated into the architectural design, while the chimney-shaped finial provides a grip for removing the lid.

Price Kensington emerged from the Staffordshire pottery industry during the 1960s and became known for functional British tableware and novelty ceramic designs. Cottage Ware pieces were created to evoke traditional rural English buildings and remain recognisable for their moulded thatched roofs and hand-finished colour variations. The base carries the Price Kensington mark, Made in England wording and registered design number 845007.

The teapot is in vintage condition with widespread age-related glaze crazing, surface wear and staining around the base. There are areas of glaze and colour loss, including a noticeable worn patch beneath the roofline on one side. The original removable lid is included. No obvious major cracks or repairs can be seen in the supplied photographs. Please inspect every image carefully because the photographs form an important part of the condition description.
