This vintage Delft-style ceramic clog planter features a traditional Dutch shoe form decorated in cobalt blue and white. The exterior includes a windmill landscape, stylised floral borders, shell-like motifs and the word “Holland” painted across the raised upper section.

The piece is made from glazed ceramic and has a deep open interior suitable for use as a small planter, flower holder or decorative container. Its sculpted clog shape includes a raised instep, rounded toe and painted blue accents around the opening.

Blue and white clog-shaped ceramics became widely associated with Dutch decorative and tourist pottery during the twentieth century. Their imagery frequently combined traditional wooden footwear with windmills, flowers and rural Holland scenes. No identifiable factory backstamp is visible on this example, so it is described as Delft-style rather than attributed to a specific Delft pottery manufacturer.

The piece remains in good vintage condition overall. No obvious major cracks or repairs are visible in the supplied photographs. There are age-related marks inside the planter, surface wear and residue on the underside, minor glaze and manufacturing irregularities, and remains of an older paper label beneath the base.
