This vintage Collie dog figurine was produced by Beswick in England and represents the classic hand-painted ceramic style the company became known for during the mid-20th century. The piece is crafted in glazed ceramic with detailed fur modelling and a warm brown-and-white finish typical of Beswick’s animal studies from this era.

The figure measures 9 cm in height, 11 cm in width, and 4 cm in depth, with a weight of 86 g. The underside carries the Beswick England stamp. The surface shows fine age-related crazing, which is common for older Beswick glazes. The back leg has been restored in the past, but the figurine remains stable and displays well.

Beswick began producing animal models in the 1930s and remained one of England’s most respected ceramic makers until production moved under Royal Doulton in the early 2000s. This model aligns stylistically with mid-century Beswick Collie designs.
