Vintage Bay Keramik Vase 651 30 West German Floral Ceramic 1960s Modernist Interior Statement

Bay Keramik West German Vase 651 30 Hand Painted Floral 1960s Mid Century Pottery

This large vintage ceramic vase was produced by Bay Keramik in West Germany during the 1960s and is identified by the impressed 651-30 model number on its base. The substantial tapered form features an oversized burgundy flower against a warm white ground.

The floral decoration is complemented by sweeping dark green leaves with yellow and black detailing. Black linear borders frame the upper and lower sections, while the glazed ceramic surface displays the expressive hand-painted character associated with post-war West German art pottery.

Bay Keramik operated in Ransbach-Baumbach and became an established producer of decorative ceramics during the mid-century period. Form 651 was issued in different decorative finishes, with the second number indicating the approximate height in centimetres.

The vase remains in good vintage condition with extensive fine glaze crazing, light surface marks and visible rubbing or colour loss around the mouth rim and upper black band. No obvious cracks or major structural chips are visible in the supplied photographs. The underside shows expected shelf wear consistent with age. Please examine every photograph closely as they form an important part of the condition description.

Please review all photos carefully and feel free to ask any questions before purchasing. We want you to be 💯 confident with your order.
