This Royal Worcester “Catherine” fine bone china figurine was created in England as the official Anniversary Figurine of the Year 2003 and sculpted by noted commercial modeller Peter Holland.

The figure wears a sweeping white ball gown with a burgundy and white diamond-patterned bodice and coordinating arm bands. She carries a finely modelled bouquet of pink and white roses. The glossy glazed surface, delicately painted facial features, sculpted hairstyle and applied floral details reflect Royal Worcester’s established tradition of decorative figure production.

The underside carries the Royal Worcester factory mark together with the model name, production year, sculptor’s name and CW629 reference. It also identifies the model as part of the 2003 Coronation Collection and records its association with Compton & Woodhouse. Production was limited to the year 2003 rather than to a stated numbered edition.

The figurine appears to be in very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks or repairs are visible in the supplied photographs, and the flowers, fingers and other delicate details appear intact. There is minor age-related wear and previous label residue on the underside. No original box is shown or included.
