This vintage Royal Doulton Fair Lady figurine, model HN2193, was designed by Peggy Davies and introduced in 1962. The figure portrays a poised young woman wearing a pale green period gown with a layered white underskirt and carrying a wide-brimmed hat.

Made in England from fine bone china, the figure has a high-gloss glazed finish with delicately hand-decorated facial features and softly graduated colouring. The sculpted folds of the full skirt, puffed sleeves, blue hair ribbon and matching trim around the hat reflect the detailed workmanship associated with Royal Doulton’s classic lady figures.

Peggy Davies was one of Royal Doulton’s notable figure designers and created a range of elegant female subjects during the mid-twentieth century. Fair Lady HN2193 became one of the company’s recognised period-costume designs and is now a retired model collected for its identifiable green colourway and traditional English bone china production. Comparable examples are regularly offered in the current collector market.

The figurine appears to be in good vintage condition. No obvious chips, cracks or repairs are visible in the supplied photographs. There is light age-related wear around the underside rim and minor surface signs consistent with previous display. The Royal Doulton backstamp remains clear and legible.
