Vintage Alsatian Golfer Dog Figurine CC51 | Robert Harrop Country Companions England Collectible Resin Ornament
This vintage Country Companions figurine features the “Alsatian” model CC51, designed by Robert Harrop Designs in Shropshire, England. Part of the beloved Doggie People collection, this charming piece portrays an anthropomorphic German Shepherd (Alsatian) character dressed as a golfer, captured in a crouched pose with a club in hand.
Crafted in hand-painted resin, the figurine displays excellent detailing in the dog’s facial expression, textured fur, and clothing folds. Its sporty golf theme makes it a standout collectible for both dog lovers and fans of unique British character ornaments.
The Country Companions series became highly collectible during the late 20th century, celebrated for its humorous animal designs and limited production models. Golf-themed figures such as this Alsatian CC51 remain especially popular due to their distinctive personality and display appeal.
The condition is good overall, with no major damage noted, and the original base label is still present.
