Royal Albert Miss Moppet Figurine Beatrix Potter 1989 Porcelain Cat Mouse BP6a England Collectible
Beatrix Potter Miss Moppet Figure Royal Albert 1989 English Ceramic Cat Mouse BP6a Collectable
This vintage Royal Albert Miss Moppet figurine was produced in England in 1989 for the licensed Beatrix Potter character collection. It depicts the striped tabby cat holding a small mouse wrapped inside a blue checked cloth, with a pale pink bow positioned behind her shoulder.
Made from glazed ceramic, the figure has a glossy hand-decorated finish. Brown striped fur markings, painted facial details, a pale green naturalistic base and delicately modelled cloth and mouse features recreate the character in Royal Albert’s traditional Beatrix Potter style.
The underside carries the Royal Albert England backstamp, the character name “Miss Moppet,” the F. Warne & Co. 1954 copyright and the Royal Albert Ltd 1989 copyright. This BP6a version was modelled by Arthur Gredington, issued in 1989 and discontinued in 1998.
The figurine is in good vintage condition with minor surface and base wear consistent with age and previous display. No obvious chips, cracks or repairs are visible in the supplied photographs. Small inventory stickers and handwritten marks remain on the underside. The original box is not included.
Please review all photos carefully and feel free to ask any questions before purchasing. We want you to be 💯 confident with your order.
