This Royal Albert Fierce Bad Rabbit porcelain figurine was made in England in 1989 and depicts the character from Beatrix Potter’s The Story of a Fierce Bad Rabbit.
The figure is modelled in glazed porcelain with a brown and white rabbit seated on a pale blue book above a textured grass-effect base. Painted facial details, moulded fur, a white tail and the red bag carried beneath one arm reproduce the character’s distinctive storybook appearance.
The underside bears the Royal Albert England backstamp, the character name, Beatrix Potter attribution, the 1977 F. Warne copyright and the 1989 Royal Albert copyright. This BP6a Royal Albert backstamp was introduced in 1989, and this version was reportedly discontinued in 1997, giving it a defined place within the English Beatrix Potter figurine series.
The figurine is in good vintage condition overall. No obvious chips, cracks or repairs are visible in the supplied photographs. Minor surface and base wear consistent with age may be present. Retail stickers and handwritten inventory marks remain on the underside. Please use the photographs as the primary condition reference.
