This vintage Coalport “Phoebe” figurine was issued in 1996 as part of the company’s Roaring Twenties collection. Made in England and modelled by Jack Glynn, it depicts a fashionably dressed woman accompanied by a slender greyhound.

Phoebe wears a long cream dress beneath an orange cape with deeply modelled folds and embossed floral borders. Her period cloche hat, heeled shoes and fitted costume reflect 1920s fashion. The greyhound wears a blue collar and is connected to the figure by a fine gold-tone lead. The cast-resin composition has a predominantly matt, hand-decorated surface.

Coalport’s Roaring Twenties collection was produced during the 1990s and recreated the fashions associated with the Art Deco period. Phoebe was issued from approximately 1996 to 2000 and forms part of a named series of large decorative figures modelled by Jack Glynn.

The figurine is in good vintage display condition with light surface marks and minor age-related finish wear. The greyhound’s legs, ears and tail appear intact, and the delicate lead remains present. No obvious major cracks or structural repairs are visible in the supplied photographs. The felt-covered underside shows dust, handling wear and a lighter vertical storage mark. No original box is included.
