This vintage Beswick porcelain figurine depicts Mrs Rabbit from the Beatrix Potter stories. The underside mark reads “Beatrix Potter’s Mrs Rabbit,” with F. Warne & Co. Ltd copyright 1951 and Beswick England marking.

The figure is made from glazed porcelain and shows Mrs Rabbit wearing a red bonnet, white apron and striped skirt, carrying a yellow basket. The piece has a glossy finish with hand painted colour detail, including the facial features, clothing, basket and green base.

Beswick produced a highly collected range of Beatrix Potter character figures under licence from Frederick Warne & Co. Ltd.
