The sculptural design shows the falconer with his bird of prey perched on the handle, rendered in detailed relief and decorated in hand-applied ceramic glazes characteristic of Doulton’s character series.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe jug is made from molded ceramic with defined facial modelling, strong glaze colour and crisp texturing to the falcon and clothing. The underside carries the Royal Doulton mark together with the Falconer identification and associated registration numbers.
