The elongated silhouette, pleated dress, puffed sleeves and floral hat create a formal late Victorian or Edwardian-inspired appearance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSpode was established in Stoke-on-Trent and became closely associated with English ceramic production and the development of commercial bone china. Pauline Shone designed a number of named female figures for Spode, including models such as Henrietta, Victoria and Priscilla.
